Privacy Policy
Last updated: [date]
This policy explains how [Abstract legal name] (“Abstract”, “we”) collects and uses information on useabstract.ai, including when you apply to partner with us. If you have questions, write to privacy@useabstract.ai.
1. What we collect
What you give us. When you apply to partner with us, we collect your name, work email, company and role, and your answers about how your agency works: closings per month, number of offices, staff count, whether you outsource any work and how in-house work is handled, and, if you choose to tell us, your title production software and the states where you do business.
What we look up. To understand your company, we look up publicly available details about it, such as its website, headquarters and size, using only your company name and the domain of your work email. We do not look up information about you personally.
What is collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit, such as your browser type, device, pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address.
2. How we use it
We use your information to review your application, follow up with you about Abstract, and understand which agencies are a fit for our partner program. We use site information to keep the site working and to understand how it is used.
3. Who we share it with
We use your information internally only. We do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside Abstract.
The tools that run our site and store applications, such as our website host, process it only on our behalf.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply.
4. Cookies and analytics
Our site uses Framer’s built-in analytics, on Framer’s default settings, to count visits. It does not use cookies or any persistent identifier, and it does not store your IP address. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your application for as long as we need it to evaluate and stay in touch about a partnership, and then delete it or remove what identifies you. You can ask us to delete it sooner (see section 7).
6. How we protect it
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can ask us to stop contacting you at any time. Write to privacy@useabstract.ai. Depending on where you live, including California, you may have additional rights under local law; we will honor them and will not treat you differently for using them.
8. Children
This site is for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the date above, and for significant changes we will let applicants know.
